Refund policy
Overview
For a return, please contact us at info@katharinastix.at quoting your order number. We will then create the shipping label for your return.
Irrespective of the voluntary return policy described below, you as a consumer are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal (see "Withdrawal Instructions"). You may also declare your withdrawal at any time directly via our electronic withdrawal function: Withdraw from contract.
Our voluntary refund and return policy applies to goods (physical products) for 14 days from receipt of the goods. If 14 days have passed since you received the goods, we can no longer offer a refund or exchange under this voluntary policy. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. This voluntary return policy does not apply to online courses (digital content); for these, only the statutory right of withdrawal applies, in accordance with the Withdrawal Instructions below, including the rules set out there on the early expiry of the right of withdrawal.
For hygiene reasons, we can only offer a voluntary refund if the product packaging is unopened, the product is unused, and it is in resalable condition. When exercising your statutory right of withdrawal, however, you may inspect the goods in the same way as you would be able to in a shop; in the case of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, the right of withdrawal nevertheless expires once the seal has been removed.
Once your return has reached us and has been inspected, we will notify you by email of its receipt and of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, we will refund the amount to the original payment method.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received a refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank, as there is often a processing period before a refund is posted.
If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@katharinastix.at.
Sending Returns
To return your product, please send it to the following address: Franz-Josef-Straße 15, 8700 Leoben, Austria.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. In the event of a statutory withdrawal, however, we will refund the original delivery costs to you (based on the least expensive standard delivery offered by us); only the return shipping costs are excluded from this.
Depending on where you live, the delivery time for an exchanged product may vary.
In the case of online courses (digital content), there is nothing to return; in the event of an effective withdrawal, your access to the course will be deactivated.

Withdrawal Instructions
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
In the case of contracts for the supply of goods, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquired physical possession of the goods.
In the case of contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., online courses), the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. In this regard, please note the section "Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content (Online Courses)" below.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Katharina Stix Make-up & Hair, Franz-Josef-Straße 15, 8700 Leoben, Austria, info@katharinastix.at) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) or via our electronic withdrawal function on the website. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
The following applies additionally to contracts for the supply of goods: We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
The following applies additionally to contracts for the supply of digital content (online courses): In the event of an effective withdrawal, you must refrain from any further use of the digital content and must not make it available to third parties; your access to the course will be deactivated.
Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content (Online Courses)
In the case of contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., our online courses), your right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performance of the contract (provision of course access) before the end of the withdrawal period, after
- you have given your express consent for us to begin performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period,
- you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal as a result of performance beginning early, and
- we have provided you with a confirmation of the concluded contract on a durable medium (e.g., by email), which also reproduces your consent and your acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
You give this consent and acknowledgement in our shop via the corresponding checkbox on the product page of the online course, before you add the course to your cart. Without this consent, it is not possible to purchase an online course in our shop. You will receive confirmation of your consent together with the order confirmation by email. Upon the subsequent provision of course access, your right of withdrawal for the online course expires.

- for the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts;
- for the provision of services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
The right of withdrawal expires early in the case of contracts

- for the supply of goods which, after delivery, are, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items;
